Dr. Ian's Weekly Tip
A tablespoon of mayo contains approximately 100 calories. An equal amount of yellow mustard contains only 10 calories. Your mustard choice can also make a difference. Brown, dijon, and honey mustards contain more calories than yellow mustard, but still many fewer than mayo.
Speaking of yellow, we're hoping for a bright yellow sun this coming Saturday, May 19, as our 14-city tour heads to Miami. Grammy Award-winning, hip hop artist Wyclef Jean will join me and radio personality Steve Harvey for a day of fun and fitness at Bayfront Park. Doug E. Fresh, Biz Markie and Florida talents, gospel singer Maryel Epps and saxophonist Al Johnson will also be on hand along with other guests to get people fired-up about The Challenge.
Our community is growing. Keep doing your part!

Now THAT'S an interesting recommendation!
As a child, mustard was by far my favorite condiment. However, as I got older, I used mayo more. (Actually, I rarely buy mustard) And, um, needless to say, when I was younger, I was lighter than I am now! :-) So, this seems like a cool opportunity to return to two of my favorites: a lighter me and a more savory condiment! :-)
Thanks for sharing this! I look forward to doing my part in the 50 Million Pounds challenge. (I'll DEFINITELY share this with some of my networking groups.)

Hello everyone. I had a hysterectomy on May 10, 2007. I started on liquid diet after getting home. Then I started eating light and when hunger hit I would eat a piece of fruit. Or I would make me some chicken broth with 2 crackers on the side. At the same time on May 9, 2007 I quit smoking. That Was a hard one. But I did it with gods help. I went and got weighed 10 days after I was released from the hosital. I went from 307 to 293lbs. I was so happy. What I was doing was paying off. I am feeling better and better about myself. I feel like I can conquer the world. I cannot wait to see how much I have lost now. I also did a colin cleansing. That is something that I had not done in a while. I am healing and feeling better one day at a time.
