Keep it moving!

We’ve lost more than 377,000 pounds, and it was only 4 days ago that we hit the 350,000 milestone! Also, yesterday marked a record day—13,600 pounds recorded… keep this momentum moving!

One way the site can help...
We’ve heard your requests for a support system and we are testing a new feature on the site—Challenge Teams. Feel free to check it out and start your own team. Once you're on the Challenge Teams page, choose 'Start a Team' from the side menu and follow the instructions it provides. Then, invite a group of family members or friends who are participating in The Challenge to join your team. Some of you are already teaming up, this addition gives you a convenient way to organize, encourage and communicate with your team through the site. We're excited about what this tool can do as we grow and stick with the fight...together. Hope you enjoy it!

Continue inviting people to join us and help reach our goal of 50 million pounds. And, don't forget to log in to register your own weight loss... every pound counts!

Arlita:

I think it's great that we are encouraging one another to lose weight, but more importantly, as you said Mrs Deguzman, to love yourself for who you are and to be in better health.

Tara, I here what you are saying, and I beleive you have hit a plateau in your weightloss. We all experience that at some point. You should probably try to mix up your workouts and try something different, it will confuss your muscles and kick start you metabolism again.

Also, I would like to put a request out there.. If there any persons in the Baltimore City area that may be interested in working out with a partner please feel free to email me. arlita4u@yahoo.com

Charice DeGuzman:

My weight loss journey has been extensive. I think the first time I went on a diet I was a teenager and wanted to be "skinny." Well fast four about 20 years and I am still battling my weight. I have about 25 pounds to lose to get to where I want to be. However, I am trying to learn to appreciate who I am and to love me for me and not what the world says I should be. It is a difficult journey, but one the way I have God, an incredible husband, two wonderful children, and tons of friends and family that help me to stay encouraged. The lesson that I think is most important is that being healthy isn't always about what the scale says. The scale tells me that I have lost 16 pounds, but I have also lost 25 inches and gone down almost two dress sizes. So, do I get upset about the scale or celebrate the achievement of 25 inches? I look forward to sharing more on this journey and I look forward to seeing the world work together to be Healthier!!!
