Hi Terrie Hooks, you have such a courageous spirit beloved sister, in spite of what is currently ailing you. You've decided to step it up. Terrie, you've made the right turn, at the right stop.....and it will lead you to the right exit, i.e a better mind, body and spirit.
The Lord is with you, do not be anxious because this race isn't made for the swift, but for those who are ready to endure. Since you've come this far, it means that you've been tested and tried to a point where you are a strong vessel that is ready to receive the new uplifting power from God.
Its turnaround time for you Terrie, nothing can stop you, with the type of will and determination in you.....you are already victorious!!

I just joined and look forward to helping myself reach my own personal weight loss goal, while being a part of a national weight loss goal challenge. Key word for me is CHALLENGE!, as I am very competitive.

Stephanie:

Hello Everybody and Dr. Ian!
I have been on the Fat Smash Diet since 7/06-01/07 and lost 36LBS High Five!!!. I started the Extreme Fat Smash and lost 11LBS, but it is hard staying focus on this one. I am burned out eating the same things (Fruits and Veggies). It is easier to cheat on this diet than the first one, or should I say, I was more willing the first go round.
I walk 8 miles 4 to 5 days a week. Exercise...I can live without (but do a little). My biggest PROBLEM is I love to snack. I have tried every diet on the market and than some...This is the only diet I can say Work!!!

I am a big fan of the Celebrity Fit Club...and wish I could be a contestant on it so I can get whipped into shape.

I LOVE Dr. Ian and Hope to him in New Orleans 11/24.

Everyone who sticks to the diet will see results.

Terrie Hooks:

Karen Stoney:

Dr. Smith thank you for the fat smash diet. I began the diet in April of 2006. I've lost 34 pounds so far. Every so often I may gain 5lbs, back during a holday but, then I return to detox and continue to eat healthy. I need to step it up to lose at lose at lease another 10lbs. I try to exercise some days when I have less pain since my hip replacement. I love this healthy way to lose weight , I have family and friends trying it also, and they love it.

Nadera :

I have been drinking water and exercising for one week now. I feel great already. I am going to keep it up and do my best to loose all the weight that I have packed on.

msclaudie:

Enough with the excuses already! This is my motivation. I believe I have made every excuse in the book. I tried to mask them as 'reasons' but the truth truly lies with me. I AM THE REASON - my habits, my attitudes, my excuses. I am 45 and know I won't live to see another 45 at this rate. Some of my friends and family even say that I am a 'nice' size, but I know in my heart of hearts that plain and simple, I am OBESE! So for me - NO MORE EXCUSES OR REASONS! Thanks Dr. Ian for looking out for us. You knew just what we needed!

sandra birthwright:

I am so excited that I have joined this challenge. I weigh 257 pounds and I am only 5 feet 2 inches tall. What is even worst i am 60 years old and have type 2 diabetes and collesterol problems. I am taking this challenge very serious and with eating right, walking and most of all with the help of GOD I will make it through this and be well. Thank you Dr. Ian and anyone else that can give me encouragement.

Gloria D. King:

Hi My name is Gloria King, and I am excited about the 50 Million Challenge. I'm even more proud that we as a people have banned together for the health and wellness of our community. I would also like to see us ban together for our young black men, and take a stand against black-on-black crimes that are taking our young men from this earth. The black male is almost extinct because their lives are cut short at a very early age. We have to do something to save our people...our race... our families...our communities. I would love to help how ever I can. This is a great place to start, but there is so much more work to be done. Much Love

Gloria D. King
