I think I'm carrying around a whole person. If you want to join my team. Drop me a line at dee_lap@ladtech.com. We can swap stories and encourage each other.
Best Regards!

I don't like veg or fruits and really would like to try them again so I would really appreciate some recipes that I could try that might change my mind about eating vegatable.

Carolyn:

I'm 5'5" and weight about 195 pounds. Over the past 2 1/2 years I have gone from a size 12 to a 16 and I'm on my way to a size 18. My weight is out of control. I look in the mirror and see my body changing and feel powerless to do anything to stop it. I use to date a lot and most of the guys I date love to eat out. Now all that eating out has taken it's toll on me. I'm 50 years old, in good health but becoming very unhappy with myself. I have to get my weight under control. My ideal weight is 149 lbs. Help!

Don't get discouraged!!! I also have a crazy schedule, so I understand. If you aren't able to make it to the gym, try walking. Even a 20 min walk around the block is better than not doing anything. Most of us will make excuses but if we are honest we can set aside 20 mins to walk. No fancy equipment, just a pair of shoes. Pull out that pair of jeans you want to get into, that should be motivation enough.
Good Luck

Lawana:

Greeting to all Challenge team members, We are all in this together, I thank God we don't have to do this alone. I read some of the comments and would like to send out some encouraging words. I truly believe the FIRST step to losing weight starts with prayer, just like any other area of Our lives we must ask God for the strength, and determination. He knows your heart and how important it is to be healthy. SECOND is surround yourself with positive, motivated people, I find that the more I let go of negative people and things I have more room for peace. Last but not least love yourself enough to know that you are the most important person in your life. When I started the challenge I made up in my mind that on my lunch break I would walk for 30 mins NO MATTER WHAT!! I have done this now for 4 months praise God. Always remember WE can do all things through Christ who is our strength.
