It’s our anniversary!!
I’ve got great news! You might’ve heard me mention celebrating our one-year anniversary on the Steve Harvey Morning Show or other radio programs. Well now I’m happy to report that my team and I have worked out the details, and I want to share the news with you first!
In staying true to our celebration style, there are some incredible prizes that you are eligible for just by updating your account with your new weight.
Each time you update your weight on the site, your name will be entered in a drawing for one of the following 3 prizes:
- An iPhone
- A $500 VISA® Gift Card
- A $1,000 VISA® Gift Card
So each time you update your profile you increase your chances of winning one of these great prizes.
We will draw the winners’ names on our anniversary day – April 7. So, increase your chances to win by updating your account everyday!
I get so excited when I run into many of you whether I’m in your town, same hotel, or the airport. Few things compare to how proud I am to hear you say that you are signed up for The Challenge, have lost weight, and are feeling better than you ever imagined. There’s just one problem—when I ask if you’ve updated your account with your new weight, many of you say that you’ve forgotten or haven’t had the time. Well, unless you update your weight, your hard work won’t count toward our big goal of 50 million pounds. The computer can only count those lost pounds that you actualIy record in your account. So I’m asking you to please come back to the site and login to update your account with your new weight!
You can become part of America’s most successful and influential weight-loss story. Please share your accomplishments with the nation by donating the weight you’ve lost to our running total.
Yours in the fight,
~Dr. Ian

I have been procrastinating visiting this site for the encouragement that I need to lose weight. I allowed myself to feel pressured into not visiting because I could not post a loss. Recently, a friend I knew growing up emailed me and a few others asking for support in her efforts to lose weight. She actually emailed us her measurements and photos along with her current weight. Her courage really inspired me to think more of making good choices every day to see results. As a result I hope to visit the site more frequently to receive as well as give inspiration.

This challenge is truly what I have been looking for and needed to give me the motivation to do what I should have done to get my weight were it should be and stop making excuses. I am 43yrs. and I am very overweight for my height. I do have some health problems which some were brought on by the weight gain, but I have lost a total of 11 pounds since I started the challenge and I am moving forward to reach my weight goal, there is no looking back only looking ahead to a better healthier, feeling and looking good lifestyle. I want to thank you for this challenge and for caring.

Losing weight isn't easy, and keeping it off is much harder but I am so excited about joining this challenge and losing weight. Losing weight is so beneficial to me b/c of my health , my family and one other small/big part my MY BODY. I know if I keep in my same bad habit routine it's going to lead me down a path with damaged health. So starting this challenge with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard I know I can accomplish anything I want. I hope I can stay on the right path and push forward towards my goal.

Ihad the most difficult time in October 2007 I started out trying to loose the weight but I got very discourage and did not have any one to talk to. So just d4ecided to quite up until three weeks ago (March 2008) when I got where I could not breathe to easily I did not tell anyone, then it hit me that my mom had 2 heart attacks and more thaan several strokes. I am not saying that it is not difficult but I am determine not to die on purpose because I know if I kept going down this same road that it would lead me to an early burial. Yes my mom is still alive and doing great by the sufficiant grace of Jesus Christ. I thank God that he did get my attention as early as he did.
Determination is good but if you have some that can motivate you it would be great. Loosing weight is good but loosing it with good health is better.

I am excited that I am losing weight but, I have come upon obstacles that tend to get in my way. I will continue to push forward and lose more and keep committed to these exercise strategies I planned out. It is amazing that I lost this much weight and this planner keeps me on track.
