If you work in an office building, try to schedule at least one meeting a day with your colleagues as a “walking meeting.” If the weather is nice, go outside and enjoy the fresh air. If that’s not possible, simply walk within the building and try tackling a couple of set of stairs in the process.
A healthy lifestyle begins when we take advantage of opportunities to exercise, or just move, within our day. Be creative and find different ways to get your work and exercise finished. Besides, it can be refreshing to break the monotony!
Best ~ Dr. Ian

I just join and I have a question on how to get started. I work nights and sleep all day. By the time I get up its time for me to go back to work. Finding a healthy meal before I get to work is hard. Sometimes I make time to stop to Farm Fresh to pick up a Fresh Salad Or McDonalds for nuggets or a cheese buger.I drink water or a dite soda while at work. When I get hungary to the vending machine I go for a bag of chips.ON my days off I try to eat a healthy meal. I only eat one meal a day becaucse I sleep most of time.I have lost some weight. I went from a size 22 to a 14,it took a while but I did it.I use to work out 3 days a week but im tried most days so i come home. Please help me to get started.

I have just started and decided to start by walking how many pounds and/or ounces can a person lose if done daily? It's an hour walk from the store and back and I started doing it on a daily basis about 1 week ago. then my daughter who is thin aa a rail gave me the pound packet.

Hello Shondale,
Perhaps you may have gained the weight due to there pastries if you ate any at all. My friend is from England and they eat a lot of that with clotted creme which is fattening. When I went to Israel Greece and Jordan I lost 6 pounds due to the foods I did not like. You will lose it once your home I gained 6 back plus more !!!!!! Take Care Judy
