During halftime, LeBron James was recognized for his effort in helping the USA Men's Basketball Team win the Gold Medal. But, not only did LeBron thank the crowd, he spoke to them from the heart about The Challenge.
Dr. Ian and Tahira Davis joined LeBron at center court. In true Champion fashion, Tahira won the Cleveland promotion, and was awarded a prize package that included an autographed LeBron James jersey!
The amazing part of the halftime moment didn't come from what was said or awarded. The inspiring factor was found in the display of unity in this healthy cause.
The connection shared by a world-class athlete, a medical expert/bestselling author, and one of us -- a regular Challenge participant -- was evident to all present at The Q Arena on Thursday evening.
