I am making a milestone birthday of 50 this year. I have been on Weight Watchers for 3 weeks and have so far lost 10.3 pounds. I want to lose 50 pounds. My ideal weight is 146 pounds. I have changed my eating habits and I starting walking for 45 minutes 5 days per week.

Hi!
My name is Vonerica. I want and need to lose at least 150 lbs. I know what to do; however, I don't always do it. But this time, I've decided I will lose these unwanted and unneeded pounds. I joined because I need your help and all you guys prayers to stay on track. I walked today, it is my fourth day in a row. IN THE PAST I would walk two days and give up. Not this time, I walked further than I normally would.
Thank you for the encouragement and the support I will be receiving. I will join a team soon. I will also be detoxing myself soon. The enemy no longer has a hold over my mind. Thank you Lord and thank you Dr. Ian.

I'm 48 and have always been very active my whole life until about 10 years ago when I got an office job that required me to sit for 10 hours a day. The weight started to slowly creep up on me. I now could easily stand to lose 25 pounds. I had cancer 5 years ago and am now menopausal (which probably won't mean anything to the men but...) which makes it even harder to lose weight. I know I have to exercise. I'm hoping this challenge will give me the avenue to maintain my motivation. My son graduates from high school in May and I'd like to be 10 to 15 pounds down by then. Good luck to all.

This is for Brian. The best foods you can take in a small fridge are yogurt if you like that, tuna which does not have to be stored in a cool place, sliced turkey breast which you can purchase at any grocer on yur route and keep lots of bottled water.Buy a 24 pack and put 1-2 in the fridge. If you have to eat at a truck stop or other fast food places, try to get the broiled version of chicken breast or turkey, skip the fries and get a salad as often as possible.I hope this helps and good look my fellow life changer.

Joined the challenge months ago started and stopped, let family get in the way which is what always happens couldn't get anyone to join with me so for the first time I'm going it sort of alone. Well about 2 months ago I started Leslie Sansones walk away the pounds book and tapes and did okay for about 3 weeks then my mom was diagnosed with ovarion cancer and eveything went out the window. I would try to excersize off an on then for 2 weeks I quit but good news I got nutritionaly smarted and went back at it. I am up to 5 miles aday walking and jogging I pay attention when my body says its full and I am eating heathy, still won't get on a scale but I'm feeling better. Thanks to everyone that shares their story its what got me through.

I have heard about Dr. Ian's Diet Program on television and the radio. I am a recently laid-off, 51 year-old female, 5'0 and 189 lbs. I was placed on short-term, low dosage hypertension meds this past Tues; although test show me as very healthy, the higher BP is attributed to weight gain. I am going to purchase the book today, follow the program and get back to a healthy weight.
My ultimate goal is 125 lbs...slow and steady wins the race! I won't place a target date...just keep losing until I reach the goal.
My 1st step today, was to join the website and keep track of my progress. Today is the start of an improved ME! Best of luck to all and I hope you attain your goals as well!

I'm deit school drop out. I have tried every deit plan you can think, but after hearing Dr. Ian speak. I know that I can do the 4 day deit. I have not purchased the book, but have joined the challenge. My husband is joining me on the 4 day plan with Steve Harvey. I really thought that it would be something hard to follow, but what I read seem simple. Thank you Dr. Ian for supplying a plan easy to follow. My target is to be SKINNIER BY FRIDAY

I decided to try the challenge. I am currently living with my sister while I take care of my terminally ill mother. Some days are good and some are not so goood but i do what I have to do. I am blessed enough to be able not to have to work but at the same time I sit here & eat. I can't leave until my sister gets home from work but then I don't want to because I think she is too tired to deal with our Mom.
Hopefully this will motivate me to try and stay busy around this house whild Mom sleeps.
I have nothing to lose but the weight so it's worth a try.

I am a over the road truck driver whose main choices of food are in truck stops. These choices are usually as follow's: Subway, Arby's, McDonalds or Wendy's. I am looking for ways to better my choices of food but a semi can only hold upto a 4 cubic foot fridge. What kind of food can be recommended to loose weight. Also do you have any suggestions on exercise that can be done as a truck driver. Any information would be greatly appriciated.
